Notes

Of 38 boats scheduled to start (there were 2 power boats also) 35 boats started and 34 finished. The wind was mostly out of the NW with periods lighter than others. Given the reaching conditions it was difficult for the bigger boats to pass the smaller boats however some did well; Paradise, Hunter 44, passed all and finished first in fleet. Floating Point never made it to the starting line; the transmission broke before they even got out of the harbor. Brian Clayton drove down to the ferry and was able to take his vehicle on the ferry with the trophies and shirts. The weather was very nice on the whole weekend if not a little bit cool though and wind pretty much all the time.

Most people thought the new finish line, rounding the R2 Bell to starboard, was a good modification.

John E. Rebello Team Trophy

There was a tie for first place between Paradise (Dark Star, Paradise, Coconut) and Frou-Frou (Godzilla, Nepenthe, Counterpoint). However the award went to Paradise due to the tie breaker and thus got the booze.
